Erik Peters, FCA Mr. Peters obtained his CA designation in 1965. He served as Auditor General (Provincial Auditor) of the Province of Ontario from 1993 until his retirement in 2003. Before that he held senior positions in the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Alcan Aluminum (Europe) SA, the Office of the Auditor General of Canada and Price Waterhouse. Mr. Peters was elected a Fellow of the Institutes of Chartered Accountants of Ontario (ICAO) in 1994 and Alberta in 2002. In 2000 he was the recipient of the ICAO’s Award of Outstanding Merit for conspicuous and sustained service to the profession and the broader community. He currently serves, among other activities, as Vice-Chair of the Audit and Evaluation Committee of Public Works and Government Services Canada. Return to Council List
